It would have been smart of me to Google "cooking rice wrappers" before I tried it myself. But after looking through about a dozen cooking forums, it turns out nobody really knows how to cook these things, and what I tried for improvisation was mostly right.Except I didn't cut the wrappers in half (which would have made them easier to work with, the smaller the better) and I put them over medium heat in a skillet for a little too long, instead of just dipping them into a bowl of hot water.
